Dr. Davindra Singh is the founder and lead dermatologist of AvantDerm, a full-service dermatology clinic in Toronto’s Distillery District. Dr. Singh has spent his career providing medical care to patients in under-serviced communities, first in Northern Ontario as a family doctor and emergency physician, and now as the only visiting dermatologist in Timmins, Ontario.

Dr. Singh is dedicated to the education of future medical practitioners, holding academic appointments at Queen’s University, Lakehead University, and Laurentian University. He also places great importance on giving back to the community and currently serves as the Chair of the Sikh Foundation of Canada.

He places great value in research because of its ability to pave the way for science and the impact it has on patients. Research allows patients who are troubled by severe skin disease to have access to medication that is either unavailable or unaffordable and is a critical element to his ethos of improving and advancing healthcare.
